Get to Know Zippy

Zippy was adopted through Alabama Boston Terrier Rescue (ABTR) by Dr. Paula in 2018 and was thought to be approximately 1-2 years old at the time. Her role is to “serve and protect” the staff and clients. Although you may see her “asleep” on the job, she is still available to bring smiles to all who greet her. When not actively guarding the front desk of the hospital, Zippy enjoys napping and taking long walks everyday with Dr. Paula. Although Zippy has been indicted of accepting bribes in the past, her attorney was able to get those charges dismissed as the judge determined that snacks did not constitute a bribe/crime in the case of a hungry, cute security officer. Due to the past charges, we ask that you not offer her any treats or snacks as that may tarnish her reputation.
